Carol O'DayCarol O'Day

Carol O'Day, native Texan, experienced her first hunt with her husband while she was expecting their first child. Today, Carol has two grown children who are avid hunters and is the owner of MG Arms, Inc., a 27 year-old custom gun manufacturing company.

Carol, an active and proficient huntress, touts over 60 trophy animals, including dangerous game.  She is an accomplished rifle, pistol, and shotgun hunter. Carol was named 2007 "Sportswoman of the Year" by the Gulf Coast Chapter of Safari Club International. Because of her dedication to the sport, Carol has served in several capacities for the Houston Safari Club and Safari Club International, where she is a life member of both. She is the President of the Gulf Coast chapter’s Sables organization and sits on the board of directors for the national organization.

As a bona fide huntress, Carol is eager to share her hunting adventures with other women and mothers. In addition to the thrill of the hunt, Carol enjoys the scenery and different cultures she encounters. One day, she hopes to travel to the high altitudes of Mid-Asia to hunt a Marco Polo sheep and to the frozen Arctic in search of a Polar Bear.

Linda DonahoLinda Donaho

Linda Donaho, a native Texan, grew up in Houston.  Although her father taught her to shoot and gave her a love for guns, he never took her hunting. As both a flight attendant and a realtor, time did not permit many outdoor pursuits.  That all changed and her hunting career began in 1995 when she and her husband won a safari to South Africa in an auction. Up to the challenge of her first hunt, she began to practice her shooting and train for her first big hunt. That safari to South Africa began Linda’s evolution into a true American huntress.

Since then, Linda has hunted on 4 continents and has collected over 50 different trophy animals, including dangerous game. She has become an accomplished rifle, pistol, and shotgun hunter. The Gulf Coast chapter of Safari Club International named Linda "Sportswoman of the Year" in 2004 for her hunting prowess. Linda serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Safari Club as well as volunteering in many other areas of the chapter. She is also a member of Safari Club International.

Most importantly, Linda is cheered on by her family, a loving husband and a daughter. She is proud that her daughter has joined the ranks of the huntress, having experienced her first hunt last year in Africa. Linda enjoys sharing her experiences and passion for the outdoors with anyone who will listen.
